Noise reductions in the "Nijenoord Allee" residential areas in the Dutch Wageningen County that had been planned since 2013, has now been completed on behalf of the local government in the last few weeks. 1,780 m² of highly absorbent KOHLHAUER ALUFERA® noise protection elements were successfully installed and are now providing an improved living environment for people residing along the busy road. The ALUFERA elements were implemented at a length of up to 6.0 m.

Noise protection on a very high level | 12 meters silicate glass

Project closure in "Unterschleißheim | Germany": An impressive 14 meter high noise barrier was built here. 12 meters of the barrier were produced out of silicate glass in a frame-solution, which comes from KOHLHAUER. The lower 2 meters of the noise barrier are sound absorbent, the upper 12 meters are sound reflecting. The steel structure and the construction was made by our partner "Josef Pfaffinger, Germany".
FGSV - German Road and Transportation Congress

Every two years the FGSV (German Road and Transportation Research Association) arranges the "German Road and Transportation Congress". This year's conference will take place from 2014-09-30 until 2014-02-10 with its accompanying exhibition "Roads and Traffic" in Stuttgart (Germany). Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.

"APREA" for visit in Gaggenau

With reference to the meeting of the French Association of Noise Protection "APREA", which KOHLHAUER also belongs to as a member, we received delegation visit in Gaggenau to join the official meeting with a visit to the R. Kohlhauer GmbH.
Following the welcome and a tour of the Gaggenau offices and production halls, we went on to discuss the upcoming days points.
