Combined with colours, patterns and motifs, silicate glass creates interesting effects and design options. Using KOHLHAUER SCORSA® LNP colour-print, glass is transformed into a visual experience – whether as photorealistic images, graphics, illustrations or structures, or utilising many more options.

Opaque, transparent or translucent: Using specially developed colours, LNP colour-print allows laminated safety glass to be designed individually with digital printing technology. Each image design, in one or several colours, can be reproduced in glass with permanent, protected application.

This type of planning and design meant that no limits were set on the imagination and creativity of the team at Kaufland Warenhandel GmbH & Co. KG AG (Germany). Kaufland was looking for a suitable “visual protection fence” to partition off the loading area bordering directly onto a railway line. In 2013, the trading company was assigned its own train stop in its immediate proximity. In November 2013, more than 600 m² of “KOHLHAUER SCORSA® LNP” visual protection fencing, including digital photo printing on translucent PVB foil, along the boundaries of both areas. The fencing has excellent sound-insulating properties and was mounted on an already existing supporting wall. Construction work for the entire project took approximately 3 months.
