For the safeguarding of noise protection elements at exposed
locations
On bridges, supporting walls and similarly exposed locations
over and/or immediately next to public traffic areas, noise protection
elements are - as long as nothing else is provided for in the
instruction documents - to be secured against collapse by retaining
constructions (e.g. cables).
As a rule the retaining construction is to be carried out in
the four corners of each wall element.
Kohlhauer wire securities fulfil all requisite characteristics
like:
- suitable for minimum load of 10 kN
- The loop length of the cable is so constructed that the
LSW-element is stopped after a backward shift of 0,3 m
- cables and means of securing them manufactured from stainless
steel according to DIN 17 440 material, no. 1.4401 or 1.4572
- cable diameter 4 mm and greater
