Wipperfürth Reference
The linking of the federal motor way with the city of Wipperfürth
was developed utilizing an extensive noise barriere system that is narrow and visually attractive, and designed to
support climbing plants.
The decision for this solution was based on the narrow radii
and minimal space requirements of the system as well as on economic
considerations. Within about three years, significant vegetation
had developed, providing a suitable habitat for microorganisms.
The actual construction and assembly time required by Kohlhauer®
amounted to eight weeks.
